How Many Here Live Alone ?

Post by Deano! »

I live all by my little 'ol self and quite enjoy it. So I was just wondering how many other geezers here also live alone with only the occassional mouse or burgler to liven things up ?

A few honest answers and this could explain a lot.

I left home at 19 in 1980 and have lived by myself ever since! I'm unable to judge any other lifestyle, so being a 'singleton' is all I know. One advantage is that I can look and download all the porn I wish/afford LOL!

I did read that at present about 30% of the adult population are, for various reasons, 'singletons' and that figure will increase over the next decade.

Living alone is bliss.

No pot poure (or whatever those crappy smelling flowers are)
No duvet cover (what's the point? you take it off the bed before you sleep, it serves no purpose)
NO CUSHIONS!! (wtf are they for anyway? 1st thing you do when you sit down is move them)
Bathroom not filled with a million feminine products
Playstation left connected downstairs
No coasters
Something gets broken, you know who did it.
No vases filled with fake flowers (what's the point of them?)
Can have my poker nights with the boys without any hassle
Can have my poke-her nights without any hassle (unlike during teens when living with parents)
She's only there when you want her to be
Don't have to have a bat cave to store my porn !grin!
CAN LEAVE THE TOILET SEAT UP!

So yeah, living alone is bliss !grin!

Been living on my own on and off since I was 19. Currently living on my own again for the first time in over two years and have decided that its the way forward!! Its not just the peace and quiet and stuff. Its the whole living my life as I choose to live it thing!! The last time I was single and gave every thing up and moved to France earning fuck all for a crappy job but having the best time of my life with no one to answer too!!

there are pros and cons mind....just spent two hours cleaning (Con) But first time I have had to do it in over a month (Pro) then had fish and chips a smoke and started a great bottle of red whilst playing playstation (fucking huge pro)

Also does any one else find they save some serious cash when they are single? Since Xmas i have saved several hundred quid and wanted for nothing!!

Cheers all

It is ultimate freedom.

Even though in my current situation I do NOT live alone.

I'm not saying I'm not free- but your solace is your ultimate right of independence.

You can have it mentally and spiritually- that's how Mandela survived. He may have been hooled up physically- but you can't incarcerate someone's head.

Well, only the gullible can suffer this, when the high-Machevallian manipulators go to town and have a field day on a naive tube.

Too much pyschobabble.
