ANYONE get one yesterday for ?425 (plus all the extras for a game and extra controller etc etc).
My plan is to wait for the dust to settle and the price to be chopped somewhat before the end of the year. And to see if they are worth buying after all.
But, what are they like? Are they worth all the fuss or should I stick with my trusty PS2 (and my brilliant 'Swap Magic' disc to play ALL American import games with no hassle).
PlayStation 3
Re: PlayStation 3
my little bro just got one and is madly in love with it, however, to me the games don't seem to be that much of an improvement so I think stick to the ps2 for another 6 months at least
Re: PlayStation 3
CHEERS for that. Yeah, I'll deffo wait until the year's end before I commit to a third (!) PlayStation. Wonder when the PS IV (or 4 depending on the marketing men) will be on the agenda?!
Re: PlayStation 3

Re: PlayStation 3
listen mate, just because you think a playstation 3 is so below you as a "grown man" doens't make it "moronic", a "childs toy" or a reason for the "species" to be failing
there was no need for you to hijack this thread with your twatty views about whats wrong with the world today

Child's toy? Says who? As the technology has improved so has the level of sophistication (or haven't you noticed this?). Video gaming is very much a mainstream thing these days with many age groups involved. We've moved on from Pong, thankfully. Sadly, certain attitudes obviously haven't.

Sorry, but this is just more presumtuous, egoistic twaddle that treats people as sheep. Is something you enjoy not important then? Not by comparrison to the troubles of the world, I suppose, but we all need to relax and unwind/escape etc, which this leisure pursuit - one far more proactive and much less passive than others - does for many.

with just sounds and no language while playing a computer game means that they have been turned into retards by their leisure pursuits.
Did you think of perhaps speaking to them about it and seeing what they had to say?
What's your problem, keith?
