If you are going for a forum, take a look at Vanilla

Easy to skin, just CSS changes and very customisable and a very nice forum ta boot.

Technical issues:

You are using a lot of javascript, put something like this in the body section:


This site requires javascript to be enabled to function to its full potential


Deffine your "alt" attributes on images

xhtml should be all lower case

Also center the table on the page.

Doing this will make sure those that don't have java on will know why the site won't work for them, your code will be cleaner and be cross browswe friendlier and search engines will find your meta data.

She has a yahoo group page with a foroum on it which she and I post on regularly have not set up a forum, i am not sure about the host yet and what it can and can't run, the problems with inheriting a site, it is a bit hit and miss at the start. Join the group by clicking below.

okay cool will look into it, to be fair would far prefer to be using flash but am leaving the thinks that are ok for the min to try and get the other stuff done, will look into including that code thank u very much, any more suggestions anyone?

Don't use Flash. Flash sites are a pain in the arse.

was not going to convert it to flash just use it for the free preview, i personally love flash sites and is what i do for a living along with graphic design, (well and photography but that is on a non profit basis). I am leaving anything that is work alone for the min anyway, lookign to add lots more content added a video section recently just waiting for her to send me some home made vids to put up. Not sure why some people hate flash so much it if done well can be brilliant. But each to there own i suppose.
