They only thing I thought was that it was a situation alot like the battle of Isandlwana. Which was a huge loss for the Brittish army,but was over shadowed in the press by the battle of Rorkes Drift. The goverment controlled media will use the same tactics here. Lead with the story of the hostages being released then cut to the story of 4 dead sodiers. You look to see which one gets the most air time. The hostages will be used by the goverment and the media as a diversionary tactic. Its a tried and trusted one that people fall for every time.

soilders are killed in iraq every week mate, and bombs go of killing iraqui's every day, no connection whatsoever, and sorry but have we been provided with ay definitive proof that iran is a supporter of terrorism apart from the word of tony bliar and george bush who also told us that there were WMD's in iraq? also if you think iran supports terrorists look at who britain and america support and have supported over the years!

so everything that blair or bush says is a lie yet many people choose to believe that he is telling the truth about global warming-the same people who were against him about the war because it suits their agenda,either people lie all the time or tell the truth all the time,because he got it wrong about WMD does not mean he is wrong about this,commanders in basra are saying they are sure that these bombs are being supplied by iran-but i suppose we killed those soldiers to blame iran .
