I am thick. Let's get that out of the way.
I offered to help a chum run their blog through a .com address and it's just not happening.
So far we've:
1. Purchased www.example.com from Mad Dog domains
1a. Already have www.example.blogspot.com at blogger, I want to merge them.
2. I go to the settings in blogger and update custom domain to www.example.com
3. I go to mad dog domain and under CNAME i change host to www and point to ghs.google.com
What do I do next?! Is it instant?
I thought that the updates could then be made via blogger and read via the .com address. So far the .com address is just a holding page saying the domain has been purchased (by us!)
Am I missing anything? Many thanks!
