LOL Northern Ireland?! 9/11 might have had something to do with that, not B-liar! The Irish American community have been the biggest donators to IRA funds. After the Yanks were bitten by terrorism they weren't in quite the same mood as they were before to support any terrorism, even Irish terrorism, hence the Micks were starved of funding for their baby killing.

As for the minimum wage, anyone could bring that in if they're in power. Our dog could've brought that in if his hairy arse was in the seat of power! Doesn't take much effort to bring in legislation to tell our cheapskate employers to behave themselves.

As i said earlier im not a Blair supporter but i have to give credit where credit is due youre correct aabout the provos as those lovely yanks couldnt stop giving cash to the micks when they where "fighting for their freedom" but when they got a taste of freedom fighting towelhead style they then discovered that its not half as romantic as they thought so the IRAs backers dissapperaed.

Minimum wage well if it wasnt so hard to bring in why hadnt it happened before? those tories would have done it surely?

its a shame that the good he has brought in to the country will be lost in the mess that is Iraq.

Was the Good Friday Agreement signed before 9/11? Just worth a check>

Maybe, but 9/11 did the most damage to the IRA. How can you bomb and shoot people when you don't have anything to bomb and shoot people with?

Well th Tories had 18 years to do so, and they did not.

Did I say that I was a Tory supporter? They abolished it because they were/are bastards who were/are in the pockets of our Victorian industry chiefs.
