The elimination of wasps!

Post by Trumpton »

I don't know why it is, but over the pass month there have been a lot of wasps about. And these annoying buggers have had to be eliminated!! The count so far is 28..... 29 (just sent another one back to it's maker with a rolled up copy of the Radio Times).

To have this number of wasps about at this time of the year might be something to do with nature (in this case the wasps) getting confused by global warming? The wasps might think it's August not May?

Also I've noticed just how aggressive they are!! It's as if they almost want you to challenge them - but of course you always win!

I've always hated wasps ever since I was stung by one on my eyeball when I was 13. It caused a brief loss of sight and soreness for about two weeks afterwards!

I like wasps.
I like to see a wasp fly near a group of people.
Makes me laugh to see a grown man run away waving his arms in the air all scared lol

Did you know Hornets will eat wasps ?
Now Hornets are much bigger then wasps but you dont see as many.

There was a nest on a tree in my garden, but it was eliminated in 1999. Perhaps they're making a comeback?
