Hi I was thinking of putting some stuff on the clips for sale site but wondered whats the cheapest way of cashing the cheques(if any). Last time I needed to cash an american cheque my bank was charging ?25 for the privilege.

Nat west only charge me ?10 .... as far as i know banks are the cheapest option ....

You can open a USD account and deposit your US checks into that and transfer money into sterling when exchange rates are good.

A friend of mine has the money paid straight in to her account, don't know if they have changed how they pay though.

I thought of direct transfer but the site charges 40$ so quite expensive. Dont know how much the pages might make so I dont want to end up oweing them money for the privelege.

I think you can set it so that it only pays out when you have so much in your account.
