the two parter 'Human Nature' and 'The Family Of Blood' was absolute perfection in terms of story and acting.
this episode had a brilliant intriguing story and some genuinely scary looking monsters.
only three episodes to go before the end of this series, and if the rumours I've heard about the final two episodes are correct then its going to be a bloody excellent end to it.
Top class episode. Loved the final moments with the shots of the various statues to get the kids thinking, followed by the reassuring wink from The Doctor at the end. Great stuff.
SENSATIONAL stuff again. Last week's episode - which actually had me in tears at its poignant pay-off - was damn good and this was right up there too.
My eldest son was well scared at the angel figures - and I thought they were bloody creepy as well!
Yet another great conclusion too with a "normal" human knowing more than the Time Lord himself!!!
Wonderful writing, acting and plot added together made another fantastic early evening Saturday treat before the garbage of 'Joseph' and 'Grease' that's only made bearable in our house with a bottle of vino and a double voddy and coke!!!
Cheers!!!
How shit am I? I still cant get over Peter Davison being "The Doctor" I really wish I could get into it,but im afraid I cant. I am really pleased to see it doing so well, mind. And im glad ya wee gal is into it. Because thats what I think we seem to forget....its a kids program really.
It was that great big twerp Mcoye that ruined it for me. Could never watch him,and though he had managed to sound the death nell for the entire franchise.
For the fans out there I hear that Stephen Moffat is starting writing it soon. My money is on them being some of the best episodes ever writen.
Anyway enough of me talking about some thing I know nothing about.
