More Moffat----and Mulligan

Post by Pervert »

Moffat wrote the best story in the first series (the two-parter The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances) and the second series (The Girl In The Fireplace, one of if not THE best episode in the show's history). Blink was excellent, too, and I wish he'd write more.

Quick word on the star of Blink. Carey Mulligan might be more familiar to us in period costume from Pride And Prejudice and Bleak House, but Billy was right----she is hot; she looks great in contemporary clothes, is a strong enough actress to carry a drama, and I hope her career thrives.

Next week, Derek Jacobi and the return of Captain Jack; then the final two episodes with John Simm. It's unnatural for someone my age to be as excited as a child about TV sci-fi :-)

In last week's episode, why did the bloody Doctor order the school boys to retreat? They had rifles and a Vickers machine gun for fuck's sake. They could have ended the aliens there and then, but no, the sodding Doctor has to go all pacifist on their arses. Bollocks to him, the kids should have just wasted the alien fucks, for King and Empire!

I've read this comment 3 times now and still have no clue about what you are talking about. I think it is to do with the lack of advertising on the BBC but I've no idea what you actually think. I know a lot of people here aren't gre4at with spelling, punctuation and grammar, but please re-read your stuff before posting as I've no clue what you are trying to say.

Its true. Russell T Davies has said "It's an epic and heartbreaking story" and he then goes on to say "In fact, 'Whovians' will have probably guessed that it's a real 'Master'-stroke!"

Bukkake shots where you are with a few other guys...is fucking gay.

In fact, about pulling trains with a woman...you wanna have sex with other guys and mix your sperm with theirs...you're just using a woman as a conduit.

If the rumours in the press about Russell T Davies giving the show up soon due to too much work, the BBC could do a lot worse than give the job to Stephen Moffat. Brilliant writer, who's managed a hat-trick now of writing the best episodes in all 3 series.

I think it'd be easier coming up with quality stories if you only have to do one a year, and if the rest of your time isn't taken up as creative producer of the show.

But you're right about Moffat's hat-trick.

I wish someone outside Wales at the Beeb would take note of how much the viewing public welcome intelligent drama that carries an emotional punch. We could do with some more quality stuff.
