I have just got a speeding ticket this week and I am very ashamed to say that it was for 36 mph !! Fuckin arseholes or what ! Can anyone beat that ?

I received one in Oxford a few years ago doing about the same speed, not impressed, I can tell you. F*****g speed camara's I hate them.

When I got done doing 36 I didn't bitch on about it because for want of a better phrase 'it my own fucking stupid fault for doing it'.

I was annoyed when I found out that if I'd have been doing 1mph less I could have done a driver awareness course and got a reduced fine but as I said it was my own fault and nobody else but ME was to blame.

Don't want the fine don't speed as WZR says it really is that simple.

I've slowed down and become more aware since I was caught and actually get pleasure now from annoying numpties who think by tail-gaiting me they will actually get me to go faster.

I wonder if it is only in the UK that people's "Rights" are regarded as far more important than their "Responsibilities".

As a citizen, it is your responsibility to obey the law and certainly not your right to complain if you are caught breaking it.

My view is clouded by having been a witness to a car that was doing 37mph in a 30mph limit, killing a 13-year-old when she ran out in front of it.

The driver blamed the parents, the child, and the police who were behind him (but not pursuing the vehicle) for not stopping him sooner. Fortunately by the time the case came to court, the driver realised that it was his responsibility to obey the law and not his right to speed, and pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving.

Makes you think......(I hope).

He said 'forced' thats different, I too have been forced to undertake people still within the speed limit, doesn't mean you are speeding, there are just some wazzocks behind the wheel.
