Right yes i'm an idiot

How does pay pal actually work? Make it so an 8 year old could understand. I've tried reading there site and for some reason its not translating to me understanding it

Perhaps in about ten years' time, when you have completed your education, you may find it easier to understand.

its a bit like a holding account. especially for ebay. you buy something from the seller and paypal will take the money from your bank/credit card and put it in the sellers paypal account.
they will then transfer it from the paypal account into their own bank.
paypal act as a middleman.......sorry that should be middleperson!

I've used it for years, piece of piss really once you get using it.

Useful if you want to buy something but crap for sellers.They take big commissions and phone support is almost non existant.However if you use ebay to any extent it will save time and trips to the post box.

I probably should have put this in the orginal post but i was in a hurry.

I don't have a Credit or debit card. It says i can use my bank account and thats were my brain goes a little fuzzy. ie: how do i set it up
