Derek Dougan was a great player and character as I recall. Quite a legend too. I have Colin Bell's biography and there is a picture of a match between England and Northern Ireland from the early 70s with Dougan and Bell leading their respective teams out and they are both sharing a joke. Bell as well as probably all the players from that era had high respect for him.
