Re: Famous slapheads
Fortunately I come from a family of good hair genes on the male side. My grandfathers still had fine barnets in their eighties. I have 2 mates who are total slapheads in mid thirties and both have lovely wives.
However used to work with a girl whose husband was going bald and by fuck was he tetchy about it. He used to get into fights at the slightest mention of his follicle problems.......worse was his colleagues used to leave him post it notes addressed to A Bonedone, Ivor Smoothtop etc!!

Re: Famous slapheads
The particular genes related to making certain follicles sensitive to DHT are thought to come from both parents, but mostly from your Mothers side, not your Fathers.
10 years ago they assumed it was passed on down the male line, then from mum to son, to daughter (who grows up and passes it to sons etc). Now we think it can be a bit of both. Even then (like deafness and twins) the genes can be turned off, skipping generations.

Of course if you can't afford a syrup wear a baseball cap all
the time like Elton did - nobody knows you are bald then!!
Used to be a baldy bloke in the pub who always wore a trilby and if
anyone took it/knocked it off his head he went doo-lally
