Films for couples

Are there any British companies that make good videos for couples?

By that, we don't mean the following:

softcore out of focus stuff
amateur films with questionably attractive actors


Basically, all we'd be looking for is good looking people, with a reasonable story (we're not asking Tarantino sharp dialogue or Sixth Sense twists) and good well shot sex scenes. There are some couples out there that like porn, but keep having to turn to America for entertainment.

Though I eagerly await the Road Trip series, if you are looking for films with stories and mean a story that lasts for 90 minutes plus then there aren't any recent British examples. If vignettes (short stories, some with some without dialogue) will do then have a look at the Cameo Collection released by Your Choice. All 5 collections are reviewed here. There are a few other examples such as



If you want a complete film, then don't restrict yourself to recent films or to the USA. Try some late 70s/early 80s porn, both American and French. They are much better as films. This is a pretty good starting point -

Rich and Jan,

My new production company called WWPW Productions currently has a video before the bbfc for R18 certification which may be interest. It's called 'The Perfect Arrangement' and was shot specifically with couples in mind. It is hardcore though but not the usual unconnected shag scene after shag scene. I'm in it as is Laura Hermonson, Faye Rampton, Peter Mann and Mark Sloane and it should be out soon.

This is true.There were some very good European movies made in the early-mid 1980's, many on the "EuroFilms" label. Not at all like current product from the Continent. One of my faves was "Professional Janine", which ran abut 110 minutes & had very good production values & great period costumes, & some nicely-shot & often hot sex to boot.

Yes - that's on my list to get. I've got three of the Josefine Mutzenbacher series, though they are all with German sound which is a drwaback, though one is on DVD which is a plus. Stacy Donovan is in one of them.
