Trumpton wrt. Freeview

Post by Porn crackers »

Trumpton.

I would expect your outside aerial as it is at present will be better at receiving digital terrestial TV than an indoor aerial ever will.

It may be worth trying a box from some where like Argos. With it's 16 day return policy if it doesn't work.

I have a Freeview box which I bought from Asda. It's an 'Onn' digital set top box. It's supposed to be plug-and-play. It's easy to plug, but it won't play because the outdoor aerial needs upgrading. However, someone at work did tell me that I could receive a signal on an indoor aerial, because he had the same problem as I'm having!

Ah, my work colleague lives on the top floor of a tower block, so that might explain why he can receive the Freeview signal on an indoor aerial.

I'll have to speak to my landlord about upgrading the outdoor aerial! But knowing that bastard as I do, he'll want to put my rent up to pay for it !furious!
