I am in a strange situation, I have no kids, but I do have nephews, they are great lads, but lazy cunts I,m sorry to say, they want for nothing, all of us have done well in our chosen career's, there are 3 of us, and they will one day inherit everything, unless I decide to leave my stuff to a charity.
Kids know the 'whatever' of everything but the value of nothing.
fuck me, now I sound old..

Also, there is the financial provision provided by the government (via our taxes) which pays for them to have the children and all the accompanying paraphernalia such as, housing, clothes, shoes, medical costs, special food and the general care and welfare of their babies!

I can't say about the statistical figures, but over the last 5 yrs, there has been lots of cases about Peado's being housed in Social Service run Hostels, and these Hostels are quite often within a couple of hundred yards of schools, etc, if not directly over-looking the schools, or play area's.

2 of the previous places I've lived in, the town's councils have been forced to shut-down the Hostels with the Paedo's residing there, & move them to a more secure facility.

I agree, that is why my daughter NEVER goes online unless I am in the room with her while she's using the computer.

My point was that I don't think high birth rates amongst Britain's poorer, less educated was the problem, but something else. I don't think being poor and uneducated makes you a bad parent.

I actually think rising equality between the sexes has played a role in how kids are brought up today. Couples 30, 40+ years ago worked on their relationship more because single parents just didn't get the support they do today. Of course, this left lots of women vulnerable and unhappy so it's kinda catch 22.

Today's couples know the kids will be well schooled, clothed and fed regardless of whether they're brought up in a traditional family environment, or by a single parent. The incentive of working through the bad times just isn't there anymore. They don't have to work at anything, including the parenting. the TV, and video games entertain the kids which leaves the parents thinking and only worrying about which contestant they're going to vote out in the next obscure text poll, or whether Greece is better than the Canary Islands in August.

As ever, balance is the key....
