T I am afraid your post shows that you know absolutely nothing about the Big Issue, the people it helps or the work its does.
On other boards the porn industry criticises people who want to make documentaries about it mainly because of the assumption they have that they are drug using slags and pervs blah blah.
The usual response to such posts is don't make assumptions about something you know nothing about. I suggest you do the same

Re: Big Issue sellers
There are sadly a great deal of big issue sellers funding a drug habit, if you take the time to go into the Manchester office, you will get the facts straight from the project director.

Re: Big Issue sellers
If that's the case simply contact the Big Issue and they won't be doing it again.

I know exactly what you mean re.your 2nd point Keith
My daughter and her friends went through a goth stage once
The amount of make up they wore and type of clothes cost a pretty penny
But to hear middle aged/old gits talk about them as dirty, scruffy, druggie
types etc - they hadn't a clue. They were only having fun for God's sake!
Don't they know that middle class and upper class in their designer gear
probably are more likely to do drugs?
Too many ignorant people about I'm afraid in my view

Re: Big Issue sellers
Plenty of working people from all walks of life fund drug habits themselves so no different if you are a big issue seller or a city banker..
