Out sourcing.

Post by mart »

I have a neighbour who like me is a UK citizen.
She has been in correspondence with the Overseas Dept. of the Pensions people in Newcastle-upon-Tyne about her UK State pension situation.
The latest correspondence from them was mailed from Singapore.....wtf is going on with British jobs?

Damn, thanks for that info. I hadn't realised Singapore was abroad.

Used to have a great job in logistics, well paid, good pension and health scheme, great boss. Then our posts were outsourced abroad presto, P45!

However not keen that NHS or DWP info goes to 3rd World, cybercrime here we come.

SKY seem to be outsourcing some of their stuff yet keep sneaking the price up. Last week spoke to someone in Fife one day and Phillipines the next.

I still go out of my way to buy British or European stuff but by chuff is it difficult.

BT have out sourced most of their customer services posts to India.

I wonder how many of BT's Indian employees actually have an average understanding of English?
