I have just purchased new AVP. It's Steganos 2007. Prior to making the purchase I downloaded the trial version to ascertain whether it would be compatable with my computer, and it was. I then downloaded the version I paid for, but I am unable to fully install it as the trial version needs to be uninstall. I am having problems doing this becuase I get a message saying: "Error 1921. SIS 2007 could not be stopped. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to stop system services". I don't know what all that means? What if I were to simply delete the trial version, would that help?

No, it won't. It will NOT allow you to simply delete the installed folder.
Shut down ALL programs that your not using, shut off your internet connection, then close down any other programs that you can think of that are running.
What you need to do, CTRL + ALT + DELETE, when you see your Windows Task Manager, it will list which programs are running. Find any programs in their that you know of, that are part of the AVP. Use your Windows Search Program if you can't figure out what the names of each process is, when you know which are which, shut them down from within the Windows Task Manager.
Be careful with just randomly shutting any of them down without checking them, they could cause your system to automatically restart or even shutdown.
By this time, you should have your system running with the bare minimum, then try the uninstall of your AVP Trial. If it still fails, get back to me with the details of what's happened, & I'll see if I can help with any further info.

Yeah, you MUST be logged in under the Administrator account, otherwise you literally can't do shit with the programs.

Some settings and installs/uninstalls you need to be logged in as the admin to change.

Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > User Accounts
If you're the admin it will say "Trumpton - Computer Administrator" or the equivalent.
