And Another Bites The Dust

Post by ATS »

Must be something in the air at the moment - the great
Phil Drabble has finally come by at 93

(not to mention Ken Stott former newspaper editor)

Who could be next? Surely odds are on a drummer!!!

In all those sheepdog trials Phil Drabble used to be involved with, did they ever find any of the dogs guilty?

Bonzo was found guilty of three counts of sheep worrying----but that's four less than Fudgeflaps.

Yes sorry about that - I do apologise Think I must have had
a funny turn due to lack of current dead people info.from our
usual grim reaper correspondent

Then again can we be sure that Ken Stott is in fine fettle??

No Andy, the sly dogs employed the defence lawyer as OJ and Jacko
Phil never stood a chance

Yes it was not a bad way of passing half hour or so
I wasn't as keen on the new guy in last few series though (Robin ?)

Drabble - think other chap who did show with him was Eric ? -
seemed to suit the pace (or lack of it) for this show

Was funny when the dogs just ignored the handler and scattered sheep
all over the place

Listened to a report on local radio about Phil, apparently the Beeb were initially very sceptical about the format but gave it a try & found that 8 million viewers tuned in to watch the first series, it's success was assured after that.
