Fish and chips.

I wish I knew Liz but when I was in Whitby about 2 years back
there was an almighty queue. They are suppposed to be brilliant but
can't believe people were stupid to stand about for so long
I certainly didn't

Apparently you cannot book a table for their restaurant so you
just wait outside until you get a turn. The queue must have been
150 yards long

Well Whitby= fishing port, I suppose it will be fresh as it gets, unless it's been subjected to 'extrordinary rendition' and come via guantanimo bay..

You can't go to a fish and chip shop that's run by a cheatin' swindlin' pikey white person. The best one's are run by Chinese people for some reason

Many fish and chip shops in this area have closed down over the past 5 years or so. There were 7 now it's down to 2.

Eye, we're so poor that 't fishcakes are our foods of the gods. I have to cycle up a cobbled road to 't fishy 't shop after workin' 24 hours at 't mill.
