Really? I think you'll find this is partly myth. Some consternation was caused, but nothing like the mass panic legend suggests.

Also: Welles version, like the movies, transplanted the whole thing stateside.

It was alright not a hit or a miss some were between the to
i brought the Lp when it came out still got it some were.
But guess its a bit dated now.
