2007/8 Premier League
Man U 6/4, Chelsea 13/8, Liverpool 6/1, Arsenal 9/1, Spurs 100/1. The bookies don't often get it wrong. As a neutral I will go for Man U, their new signings look interesting. Chelsea need to lose Schev and Bollax, their performances and mega wages are bound to be unsettling the rest of the aquad. Play shit, get ?120k a week, play shit again, another ?120k in the bank while lesser players score goals and get paid half the money.

Agreed Wazza. Alan Smith has been unlucky, and even though he's not scored much, he's been a driving force, chasing defenders around, and his enthusiasm spreads through the team.
Dunno why he went to Newcastle though, with Viduka, Martins and Owen, he's still gonna find game time pretty hard to come by. He should have gone to Middlesbrough where they've only really got Yakubu.
I think Chelsea signing Alex and Haim will strengthen them up at the back, and if they go back to playing with wingers, they'll give Man Utd a run. Can't see Liverpool clawing back 21 points on Man Utd though.
Prediction:
1. Man Utd (just)
2. Chelsea
3. Liverpool (though more points than last year)
4. Tottenham
5. Arsenal
6. Everton/Newcastle/West Ham
