Yeah, they are---but they pass the occasional dull moment, or help someone unwind after work. There are times when it's quite enjoyable to talk absolute bollocks, with no agenda.

Are you qualified in Mental Health matters? If not don't make rash judgements. I do a lot of work with our local NHS Mental Health Team and they assure me dealing with Bi-polar patients is a real nightmare. I had one as a client who could swap moods in a second, going from blubbering wreck to hyper-confident in mid sentence. Very scary to watch. He had fucked up his entire close family by involving them in serious fruad schemes then cried like a baby or feigned illness to wheedle his way out.

As for John Cleese he is not Bi-polar, just a lazy bastard who hasn't been remotely funny since 1974. His Golf ball adverts for the US market are painful.

Was this meant as a reply to Tequlia's post?
If so it seems to be a bit of a non sequitur.

!laugh!

Olay's back! The ".....................s with bipolar disorder" series continues.

Subjects of such a series I want covered:

- horses
- cakes
- pornstars
- historical figures
- inorganic materials

On a more serious note, I don't like talk of celebrities havinng such a condition. "Bipolar disorder" seems to be a fashionable sobriquet that a lot of celebrities WANT theses days- not only to add to their grandiose notions of being unique/special, but it seems to be a very convenient excuse to justify eccentric/ bad/ abnormal behaviours.

Perfect example:

Robbie Williams: rampant cokehead and raving egotist. Diagnosis: bipolar. Bullshit!!!!!

On viewing Stephen Fry's bipolar documentary on BBC, it is my humble opinion that Stepehn Fry is NOT bipolar; he seems to be more of a self-hating kleptomaniac. His bipolar hypothesis seems to be an easy way of justifying his south-of-centre behaviour.

As someone else posted: who gives a toss?

We're here to unwind. Let the bollocks continue.

Well said C

Never ceases to amaze me all these nit pickers who feel the need to put everything else down because it isn't to their taste

The solution...find others that have similar interests and intellect/IQ
