A Little Poser

Post by planeterotica »

Here is a little poser for all you brainy people and its quite an easy one, if a Ship leaves a port and circo navigates the earth and returns to that port into the same dock and mooring that it departed from which part of the ship would have travelled the furthest !cool!

The highest part of the ship would have travelled round the world like the rest of the ship but would also have moved considerably left and right in any rough sea.

The mast, assuming it was the highest part of the ship, would describe a
slightly longer circumference of the globe than lower parts of the vessel.
