Take any random anomalous event causing death statistically en masse: bigger killer than Al-Qaeda.
Spanish flu, bird flu, pox, the bubonic plague, leprosy, Celtic's bad start to the league campaign, African genocides, drink driving, angry geese, alcholism, drug abuse, earthquakes..................
A huge plethora of phenomena can be a bigger killer than Al-Qaeda.
What's your point, caller?
Bigger killer than Al-Qaeda

Nobody said modern medicine came with any guarantees
theres a reason why it takes a minimum of 6 years of study to become a practicing physician...its bloody complicated!!!!!
Plenty of studies show that mis-diagnosis and henceforth either being prescribed the wrong drug or the wrong dosage do occur and sometimes result in death
If the vast majority of people treated their bodies with a bit more respect they wouldn't need to rely of some over worked and under paid doctor/amateur detective to fix the problems IMHO
