Re: Downloading DVD covers??
Hmmm,
any number of adult shop websites will let you download
a large graphic, usually JPG, of the front & back
covers of a video or DVD
It will print as long as you have a colour printer
and any semi-decent graphics package. You will probably
have to experiment a bit to get the dimensions right.
But it isn't likely you would be able to pass off the
cover as an original because
a) A lot of covers are double sided - softcore & hardcore
b) You will be less likely to find a graphic with the 'spine'
intact.
c) Even a large JPG will have a pretty low print resolution
i.e. it will probably look grainy.
So your homemade efforts had better be for filing purposes
only.

Re: Downloading DVD covers??
I got a vid from yourchoice and later got the coverslip sent through, however the coverslip was a different size to the case I put the vid in, with a little tweaking I got a copy of the original to fit. Are there differing sizes of videocase(s) in use?

Re: Downloading DVD covers??
Certainly in the R18 world - and probably universally,
there are at least two video box sizes for VHS.
In the smaller box, the cassette is flush with the walls
of the box.
In the larger box, the cassette fits into brackets that
are about 1/4" from the side walls.
Smaller boxes appear more in retailers. Larger boxes
appear more in rental. This trend is reversed as far
as R18s are concerned, with most of them coming in a
larger box. I suspect this is probably the influence
of the U.S. rental market.
There may be a marketing study that suggests that
rental tapes are more likely to be returned if you get
them in an annoyingly large box... but if so I am not
aware of it !
