No, in movieland they';re all beautiful talented 20s.
In real-land they're 40s, ugly and have the personality of a
constipated goat.

Oh to be perfect, beautiful etc and to join der Birdseye Kuntry Club.

People who work and shop in supermarkets are just people, some good, some bad, some ugly, some attractive, some intelligent, some morons, and all the varieties in between. Spare us the sweeping generalisations.

Stick that in your exclams and smoke it.

If it's good enough to make sweeping generalisations in movies then it's good enough for me.

You're taking miserable gittishness to new heights!

There is a new dictate from misery Caractacus, so all question regarding this should be addressed to our comrade.

Sweeping generalisations are the product of lazy thinking. Rather than have an opinion on anything, it's easy just to resort to the social/religious/racial/sexual stereotype.

Supermarket jobs are quite often the only option for women with families to support. But, hey, they are only Chavs, so they don't have feelings---and besides, it makes the demigods of this parish feel better about themselves, so carry on.

Oh, and I've been in a fine mood all evening. I could put up with the odd sweeping generalisation here and there if it was in any way, shape or form funny.

And carry on labelling those who disagree with you communists, because that really works well in a democracy.

Which you are guilty.

You said it.

Exactly like you. You're the prime fucking demigod here!

Sweeping generalisation don't have to be funny as yours have fucking well proven time and fucking time again.

Good point about the fascism. I'm not immune to lazy thinking, and can use convenient (rather than accurate labels) as well.

Your views on funny and mine are just opinions, so can't quibble with that either.

The rest of what I said is valid----in my opinion. But you have plenty of people who agree with your views, so carry on posting. Just don't expect any remarks about poor working class people (oh, sorry, was forgetting that there are no poor in the UK) to go unanswered.
