If asked on the spot who is my favourite atrist I would have to say Turner. I really dont know why but some thing about his work has always fascinated me.

I know im probably going to get slated for this but I really enjoy the "Street installations" by Banksy and the like. I find them on the whole very enjoyable and clever. I always pick up "Wall and piece" when in certain gallery book shops.

Im also a huge sucker for cliched art. I currently have "Nighthawks" by Hopper as my desktop wall paper. As a kid I used to say that when I had a place of my own I was going to buy it and have it above the fire place. Not got round to it yet. Maybe one day.....

Simply put: I may not know alot about art but I know what I like

Cheers

Overall, another nod for Turner.

Of the contemporaries, Gerhard Richter and Anselm Kiefer.

Them bloody Germans, eh.
