How could they make the move to hire a car (and presumably move a body) 25 days after that evening? The McCann media bandwagon was firmly up and running by then and it looked like they couldn't do anything without mass scrutiny. Doesn't scan at all.

Interesting how the abduction theory seems to have fallen away. It's murder apparently, except that by now the body has usually been found.

I got to say it does seem to stink a little ..... The police do and have planted evidence in the past and will always do so when things do not go there way in high profile cases..... and foreign police do tend to do more of it .... 1st hand experience on this matter.

It seems to be near impossible for the parents to dispose of the body since they will be surrounded by press, lawyers, friends and family etc since she went missing even if the focus shifted to someone else for a while.

With saying that and the fact I DO NOT KNOW all the facts i will keep an open mind on the whole issue.

The sky police expert, who clearly knows his stuff, said the other day that the blood found in the boot of the car would have come from a dead body. They can work it out if it is from a live or dead person fairly easly. If it is a set up as clamied the portuguse would have had a sample of Madeline's blood. I am sure that the British lab would have worked out if it was a plant.

I am sure, if memory is right, this evidence came along after the British police, on the invite of the Portuguse police, supervised them, going through Robert Motrat's house and the holiday flat amongst other things. As far as i am concerned the portuguse police are just following where the evidence takes them.

I'm not saying they have planted anything on this case .... but you need to keep an open mind.

None of us on this forum know any of the facts.... Love they way people seem to know everything and have made up a verdict

(Alice) ... the police all round the world plant evidence ... FACT. It may have happened in this case it may have not. This whole thing does seem to smell rotten somewhere .... either the McCann's or the police.

Don't judge unless you know the facts.

No personal grudge .... i proved them wrong and they got the boot.

Have you forgot about the Guildford four ... very high profile case.

And i believe i wrote "will always do so when things do not go there way" not the same as say "they always do it"

Pressure from the top can push things the wrong way.
