Indeed he was, and loyal too. He could have left Man Utd several times, and earned himself more money, but he wanted to stay, and never beefed or moaned about the manager not playing him. If he came on he always gave 100%, or as footballers will have it, 110%. He was a real team player, who just happened to score the winning goal in a European Cup final. He was just a really great guy who was not motivated by greed. You won't see many like him in the modern game.
