Dave Gilmour

Great to see the BBC showing highlights of the Dave Gilmour concert from the Royal Albert Hall on the box last night.
More of the same is wanted.
Would be interested to see which concerts readers of this forum would like to see on TV

Ah yes, the old "let's put a portion of forthcoming DVD on the Beeb for a cheap bit of advertising" trick :-)

Loved the solo on "Fat Old Sun" - nice to hear Gilmour rock out a bit more occasionally. Always loved the solo on "Young Lust" for the same reasons.

DVD duly ordered.

Anyone heard Dave... er David's guitar solo on the LIVE version of Comfortably Numb. It is absolutely unbelivable. Best guitar solo ever!

Enjoyed the gig but really wanted to slap Crosby and Nash. I prefer Sam Brown singing backing vocals to 2 has beens who now spend their time whining about how much money they wasted on dope.

Mr Gilmour's (polite enough?) axe work is superb and still developing, unlike Claptout etc who trade on old stuff.

Shine on was fabulous.
