Lots of people lost their houses in the 1980 boom times due to high interest rates

Now it appears many will lose their houses due to lax lending standards

ie 100% of the value with no deposit or a grant from the Govt

Everytime theres a correction in the value of their property downwards they faced the possibility of eviction...truly despicable IMHO

The real carnage will be felt when 1st home buyers can no longer afford to even enter the market
