A good night, and Scotland seem to be riding on the crest of a wave lately. Did you watch the Scotland match?

England played well but the Russians are a good, technical, tidy team. That plastic pitch will suit that and I can see them winning England on their own patch. Win in Russia though, and we're through.

Will you Scots qualify then?

I know it's a little late in the campaign but how about a shout for us as well 5 - 2 away from home. Wins for us are as rare as rocking horse sh*t! Excellent win for the Jocks in particular, hope they can get there. Two home games left England should make it comfortably, but should he change a winning team?

Yeah well done to both.

Just hope McClaren doesn't lose his bottle and put Rooney and Lampard back in when they're fit. This England side has great balance, esp with Barry and Gerrard and if S.W.P improves his crossing we'll be a major threat in Euro 08.

If we want goals we need to give Owen all the support which means Heskey or Crouch. Rooney doesn't bring the best out of Owen and as Rooney hasn't scored for like 3 years we need Owen more than we need Rooney.

So even winning the Ukraine and Georgia won't guarantee qualification if you lot lose to Italy, and France win all their games.

I remember Wales being in a simular position 4 years ago(?) and bottling it at the home straight. Lets hope you lot keep it together in the run in.

Good result for Wales........but isn't it always like this when the pressure's off?
