Well to be honest - fuck all wrong with vista, remember you can customise it so it does not use too many resources, remember you can get 2 gig of ram for under 60 quid at the moment, plus most of the programmes can be run in windows XP compatibility mode anyways.
Vista is far more secure and less prone to getting nasty spyware and adware on your PC than XP is renowned for (I have been running Vista Ultimate for over 6 months and not had 1 single virus alert in that time). With XP I found myself constantly worried about viruses and stuff with vista no worries whatsoever.
But then again if you play a lot of games it is true you best stick with Windows XP and not even consider Vista.

PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

Their playing leapfrog with a catch22 twist to keep themselves in business FOREVER
I'm not anti-vista just wary of microsoft is all which is why i always buy the latest windows o/s version dummies guide before any upgrade
A small investment keeps the headaches to a minimum
