because seemingly every other link I've clicked on in the past two weeks or so has had a virus or trojan hiding in it. I've had to run AVP scan after AVP scan to detect and delete these buggers when they've got on to my computer. It's even occured when I went to MySpace.
Just what is going on? Not a happy bunny !annoyed!

I would say you have a virus that isn't getting dealt with by your anti-virus.

I have Steganos 2007 and I receive daily AV signature updates, it also gives me pro-active defence against all malicious software.
Mmm, how good is Panda?

Panda - very good unless you run it on your own PC where it uses too many resources.
But the activescan is very thorough.

OK, I'll give it a try. Are you suggesting that when I do my AVP scan it doesn't detect all viruses and/or trojans on my computer?

Well if you do the active scan and it finds something you have the answer where as if you find nothing you also have an answer if you follow the logic.

I understand.
Will the active scan conflict with my already installed AVP?

It might do, but trojans can write to the registry and it can be really difficult to get rid of them. Just zapping it with a virus scanner probably won't stop it activating again on reboot.
Write down the name of the trojans that are found on your machine then put them through Google to see if you need to do anything extra to zap them. There might be specialised tools to take care of some, or you might need to go into the registry and remove certain keys to stop it reactivating.
Good luck.
