Re: Heroes
No, Peter's power is to absorb the power of others, whilst he's in close proximity to them, so without Claire's restorative powers he would scar.
Re: Heroes
It's more than just lobotomising them to kill them...I won't spoil it.

SPOILER:
Peter had absorbed Claire's power in the homecoming episode so whatever happened to him from then to the episode set in the future, he should be able to heal. It just seemed to keep continuity with Future Hiro saying he didn't recognise him without the scar.

True, when Lost is good, it's exceptionally good, but it meanders too much is in in danger of disappearing up its own spuriously conceptual backside. Heroes keeps the plot moving more swiftly and more clearly - very much like a good comic book - though it hasn't quite the same mystique as Lost.
They're both miles better than anything we can manage at present mind.

I thought there was more to it than just killing, but I'm trying to avoid finding out too much in advance.
Mohindar's voice is excellent---but he doesn't convince as an actor.

No, sorry that's the point...and I know we're in danger of turning into anoraks here. He only acquires others' powers temporarily - like flying and clairvoyance from Nathan and Isaac, respectively. Peter's scar isn't from the homecoming because he has Claire's restorative power at that time. So logically his scar must be from a future point in the story arc, which Hiro alluded to.

Re: Heroes
Future Peter had a scar because he did not have regenerative powers, as he hadn't met Claire since she was dead.
Hiro changed that, which meant Peter absorbed her power, therefore future Peter will no longer have that scar.

Chatterji - Okay, I have to stop because it's confusing me now. I don't recall the powers Peter absorbs to be temporary. Also, he is about to meet Christopher Ecclestone whose power he still possesses in the future.
Cactus Jack - that's the point. In the future episode, Peter still has the scar.
