Never in the history of bird transformation have we witnessed such a change. For years she was the nerdy sidekick on 'Countdown', she disappeared for a while (probably to some industrial sized makeover lair in the Swiss Alps), then she made a highly publicised return by conducing a campaign whereby she was photographed at every opportunity. The media lapped up her new image to such an extent that you couldn't open up a paper without seeing her countenance emblazing from almost every other page.
She was on TV the other day attempting to ascertain her Dutch heritage via her father and uncle. During the filming her father, 87, died. Anyway all this will add grist to the mill of the reinvention of Vordeman.
