I've heard that they're doing a Doctor Who 'mini episode' featuring Peter Davison & David Tennant. :)

It's become apparent that the cost of putting it on, plus admin etc, means only a portion of the money raised goes to charity. Doubtless it covers various points on their public service remit, but it certainly needs a rethink.

I met Terry Wogan's son years ago when he was a chef in a bar in London. I think his name was Mark. Looked like his dad but with ginger hair. One of the most arrogant, detestable people I've had the misfortune to encounter.

All the charity fundraisers on TV are terrible - CIN, Comic Relief, Sport Relief, etc.

There is no way I'm watching 9 hours of mind-numbing tv just to watch Frank Bruno in a ginger afro wig singing "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life", and then expecting me to pay for the privilege. Stop ruining the telly, and I'll give you twice as much as I normally would.

Course, that's still only ?2. There are far more deserving charities out there, that don't get a mention, it's the shit ones get all the coverage.

Are you actually speaking english, or are you just making up words as you go along? I do that too...
