Brown?s Britain ? Streets Of Fear?
Nowadays it seems that every week or so there is an unprovoked fatal stabbing or shooting by either chav or ?gangsta? retards. Now, after the conviction of two 14 year old chavs for randomly kicking a partially sighted man to death at a tram stop, is it time to take the streets back from Mr. Brown, his poncy ivory tower dwelling pals, and the lowlife scumbags whom they have allowed to dominate the streets in recent years? Are you concerned about the way society is shaping up under Noo-Labour? Because you should be ? next week it may be you or one of your loved ones at a lonely tram stop.

"No. As I have remarked before, I don't even bother to lock my car now"
Maybe you can get away with that in the leafy, lightly-chaved, wilds of the Borders region. But I think you might have to amend your stance if you found yourself in an urban inner city environment - like the one where the poor chap was kicked to death.
"As the independent British crime survey has pointed out well, perception of crime is rising in the UK, whilst actual crime falls."
I'm sure I read somewhere that the survey in question omitted a whole range of crimes and didn?t take them into account - most notably the 'low-level' antisocial behavior that that is nowadays a predominant feature of many council estates and decaying areas where councils put asylum seekers, the mentally and emotionally incompetent (flakes), and those undergoing 'care in the community'. Now, if you lived in one of these areas - as my mum still does. I guarantee you would not dismiss the behavior and actions of those involved in low-level anti social behavior in such a cavalier fashion. It can be a living nightmare for those decent folk who do not have the means to leave. And don't forget, the tram stop incident started out as low-level anti social behavior, but in minutes escalated into murder. Events turn on a sixpence. The reason that these scumbags did this was simply because they did not feel inhibited from doing it. The result of many years (not just the Blair years) of permissiveness, the respect agenda, indulgence and funding by the political classes ? who, surprise, surprise, tend not to live anywhere near the ASBO classes.

Many years ago me and ms Liz lived in a less salubrious are than we do now, I still used to have a nice motor, but left it completely unlocked evry night, I would rather have someone nick the radio from the inside than coming in thru the window, wierd logic I know, but it worked.

Think it depends on your motor
I know of one guy who's car has been broken into 46 times
in a suburb thats notorious for petty crime
The cops advised him to remove all the valuables, leave it unlocked and leave the key in the boot.Hasn't been broken into since

Re: statistics are bullshit
Used & abused is the best way I'd describe statistics
I've said before where 1 criminal transgresses several times for a similar crime only 1 crime is recorded
If you want proof that statistics are a joke just consider Australia has its lowest unemployment for 30+ years.
The definition of being employed = worked 1 hour per week
Its beyond Farcical

Re: Brown?s Britain ? Streets Of Fear?
Trouble is the people who have the power to use it don't fuckin use it.
For example pissed up cunts can be dealt with by DPPO's but aren't fuckin used.
Should the Government (Mr Brown's noo-labour) be questioned why the laws in place aren't being used? = To fukin right.
Should the people with the power to deal with issues be questioned why they aren't doing their jobs and using them? = To fukin right perhaps even more than the people who introduced the legislation that if used properly could make a difference.
