Yeah cold water, the amazing thing is you make a cuppa (takes 3secs) and even as the boiling water's coming out, the water containers just as cold as when you filled it, and our came with 4 filters as we bought 2, great energy savings if your into all that, looks the business and incerdibly handy, it even gives you a choice of a one press measured cup or d.i.y serving..
