What exactly don't you understand about the word 'average'?

Everything apparently,remember this is the English language.Every word has at least three meanings and then some depnding on the context in which it is used.

I just don't like people making statements without constructive backup.Can you imagine if every review was two words-pretty pointless.Wouldn't leave Patrick Riley with much scope for constructive criticism.
