Considering the endless forum threads that have been expended on Iraq and middle east issues - I'm amazed that no one has had anything to say about this highly significant and, I would have thought, controversial story. What's up? Can't you get your heads round it?

As for me dibbs, I simply refuse to believe GB is the PM, we will never know his thoughts are on it until a member of the Tory party tell's him.
He's a lightwieght, he's really out of his comfort zone as PM. It actually makes me cringe to watch him, it.s so embarassing.

"does that sound ok as reactions go?"

Yes, but this is a Gordon Brown story. We already know about the USA's position. I thought this might be something of a shock British muesli munchers, so was wondering how they might react after they'd just gotten rid of our Tone over a very similar issue.

To right ,Liz. He certainly looked a little unsure of himself yesterday - as he pressed on with the charade that he was never really thinking of calling a snap election this autumn.
