Anyone who likes their boxing should go check out this dude on YOUTUBE fighting either Edilson Miranda or Jermain Taylor.
He's white, and he can fight! (A promoter's dream!)
He's in the same mould as Ray 'Boom Boom' Mancini or Arturo 'Thunder' Gatti....
In other words, he's gonna be a FUCKING SUPERSTAR!

I did see the Taylor v Pavlik fight although I must confess to watching it on a Sunday morning whilst reading the paper at the same time so I didn't watch it closely but my initial thought was that Taylor outboxed Pavlik and Pavlik just got lucky in one round.

I take it that this wasn't the case then?

pavlik got belted to within an inch of his life in round 2, but regrouped to dish out a systematic beating from the sixth, until he finally caught up with, and stopped, taylor in the seventh.

I have never seen Gatti-Ward but the best tear up of the last 10-15 years has to be the first Barrera-Morales fight.
