Having been on other forums, I would have:

-2-minute auto-refresh;

-a chatroom!!;

-a site register: telling us who's online and how many guests are on;

-.......... Fudgey's favourite: the edit function!! (this may not be the best idea, as editing could lead to a lot of confusion).

What would you lot do?

I don't think an edit function would lead to confusion. Loads of other sites have it these days.

A seperate forum for babestation shit.

And that's it. Don't think a chat room would work. I can post here while making a cuppa, or my tea, or listening to a podcast/music so that means I can reply to a post 5 or 10 mins after. With a chat room, waiting that long for a reply means people will think I'm ignoring them!

Yes if the servers still had a backup of ALL messages posted, which would include original posts that were edited.

Posts like that wouldn't be up as long either.

Also, the offending posts wouldn't be up as long. As it is now certain posts may not be seen by the admin for over 24 hours.

I guess there are pros and cons for both scenarios.

I'd also have my PC interfaced to Lizard's new Instant-Cuppa Tefal device.

I'd click a 'tea' icon, over on the left (underneath FAQ), whereupon boiling tea would be transferred via optical fibres and out of my USB tea-dispenser.

A similar system would be deployed in order to get the fumes of the pants of the pornstar of your choice.
