I suppose the real danger of such opinions is their potential to ignite
racial hatred amonst the uneducated swill who see everything in

We had the Pauline Hanson saga in OZ which harnessed the fears of the White majority via the race card.

Sadly, if true (it isn't....directly) then there's always someone with an agenda who would hijack the truth.

Intelligence doesn't mean much anyway, and it's well known that the more intelligent you are, the less motivated you are. Motivation and persistence beats intelligence 3/4 of the time, I feel.

Most of us wouldn't have the education levels required to understand the complexities at play anyway so you've got to wonder why he'd want to speak about it anyway

I could also say most would simplify the argument down to

there are smart & dumb people in every race

I agree its either one of those 2 aims

By aiming for the truth he's also aiming to have his name remembered

No, I'm not asserting that Wiki is 100% accurate.
I simply posted that entry because it seems a fair summary of that book and film.
I could just as well have chosen the Amazon description or the publisher's site.
Perhaps my mistake was to post the attribution rather than to pass it off as my own original contribution.
