British Porn Literature

Is there any literature out there that documents the life & times of the mainstays of the british porn industry.A real record from the beginnings of the industry to know.The last british book i read like this was beyond the fringe which was highly engrossing.

I would be happy to fork over my cold hard cash to read about it.
I am mostly interested in the likes of Super Mario,Uncle Ben & off course Steve hooper being as they are really the only ones I know,Apart from that greatly 'loved' Belgium Pascal-the ice bucket Ben the ice bucket-comedy beckons.

Well I assume you're aware of Simon Sheridans book on Mary Millington, which is well worth reading. Also, there was a little tome entitled 'The Sultan of Sleaze' by Mark Killick, which concerns our old friend DS (ISBN 0140238638) and makes interesting reading, but as it was published in 1994, I expect it's long out of print. As for more current, er, performers, I have no idea, but await further replies with interest !

Too tell the truth i have never read a book on porn, or watched any documentaries.I can't believe that there isn't a definitive book of some kind on British Porn.

Slightly OT, but it does contain a seven page interview with Nici Sterling, is the book The X Factory by Anthony Petkovich (ISBN 0952328879), a recent publication about the US Hardcore film industry. Very interesting reading, well written, and also includes interviews with John Leslie, Bruce Seven and Gregory Dark, and a truly behind the scenes interview with cameraman Michael Cates, who brings the whole porn ride down to earth with a bang (sorry) by saying that, just like most other people he has a mortgage to pay, and this is how he does it.
