O/T - how do they do it?

Post by joe king »

I think these are from early playboys. I am intrigued by the beauty of the photography, it has a clear kind of light. How do they do it?

Looks like a lot of them were shot using just natural light with reflectors rather than studio lighting?

Wow, excellent! Each and everyone desirably feminine and shagable. Pity the spark plugs are playing up in the old 'time machine' or I could have nipped back over the years and booked 'em all to appear in a 2002 movie. Then we could make a decent shag movie and finally give the big elbow to all those tiresome, skinny, synthetic, shaved, pierced, tattooed types who are living under the grand illusion that the majority of blokes find them attractive.

I think that "The Proff" or Trevor Watson could answer your question joe.
They are beautiful, pix and girls. As Dibble said, this was an age of FEMINITY. (Silly old fucks are,nt we)

Yup. Also, there is a lot of strong side lighting and some backlighting, which emphasizes the models' shape, and this together with a slow slide film and top quality primary lenses, medium format cameras, and a photographer who knows what he's doing (as these are of little use if the operator is too inexperienced) combine to produce these shots. Film technology has changed since these shots were taken, and the 'warmth' of colour and contrast exhibited in these shots is not as commonplace as it has been in the past.
Lesson over!

Thank you for that resounding vote of confidence Professor. You may rest assured that I will have more to say on the subject in future threads.
