No, I thought everyone was getting along fairly well tha neet. A bit of
mutual abuse, some [fairly] harmless joshing, the usual 'boys'- stuff.

...I in no way meant to disrespect all other demersal species and genera
by my unthinking use in the above post of the term 'sole'.
While I deeply respect the Soleids and their noble I did not mean by that
unfortunate phraseology to diminish the deep and sincere regard I hold for
Acichthyids, Chioglossids and particularly the Hippoglossids, one of whose
number is such a deeply-respected occasional poster in this [usually] flatfish-
friendly forum.
I have also apologised, humbly and sincerely, to all the Macruroids,
ophidiiforms and benthic elasmobranchs of my acquantance, and fed them
an extra ration of crab-sticks.
